In November-December 2010, I was in Cancun, Mexico with a delegation from the UK Youth Climate Coalition. Governments from around the world will attempted to reach the fair, ambitious and legally binding agreement on climate change we desperately need. Dear Dr. Huntley,
I base my opinions on the many video lectures I have seen on these subjects, and then by following up their claims, by referring to the peer reviewed papers that they themselves do cite within these many videos. However peer review it transpires isn’t the only issue here.
I became increasingly alarmed, when it became evident that some scientists were being deliberatly disingenuous about these matters, and that there was an underlying clandestine agenda. After reading the excerpts from Obama’s Science Tzar, John P. Holdren in his book “Ecoscience” written in conjunction with the Erlichs, I was aghast.
To quote from famous English Botanist, Professor David Bellamy, “The Science has simply gone awry”. Gravy trains, corrupt practices, and even deliberate deceit and fraud. It truly sickens me to see what has become of the scientific community. I do believe however that there is hope, that we may root out those tainted individuals and return once again to a world of truth, honesty, and decency. This will only be possible when the frauds are exposed to the light of day, and the guilty may no longer hide in the dark to do their evil deeds.
I implore you Dr. Hutley to do your utmost to bring light into the darkness that has become of the true empirical science of climate change and genuine meteorology.
